Amplicity joins international Climate 4.0 Hub at Swinburne
Selected as one of six French climate-tech startups for Swinburne University's Climate 4.0 Hub Flagship Accelerator in Melbourne.
Amplicity has been selected as one of six French climate-technology companies joining the inaugural cohort of the Climate 4.0 Hub Flagship Accelerator, operated by Swinburne University at its Hawthorn campus in Melbourne.
The programme is a first-of-its-kind Franco-Australian initiative to help French climate innovators enter Australia's clean-energy market. It runs for five months across two phases: offshore mentoring on market-entry strategy and legal support, followed by three months of intensive on-campus onboarding in Melbourne focused on commercialisation and investor readiness.
The selected startups tackle challenges spanning solar recycling, hydrogen innovation, industrial decarbonisation, and smart-building efficiency. Amplicity's contribution is its battery-optimisation platform, which enables industrial sites and data centres to generate revenue while improving energy resilience and supporting decarbonisation.
Participants gain access to Swinburne's research capabilities, industry networks, and potential investment through Swinburne Ventures Limited. The Hub is delivered through the Franco-Australian Indo-Pacific Centre for Energy Transition (FACET), co-led by CEA, Swinburne, and Université Grenoble Alpes, and funded jointly by both governments.
