About Amplicity

On a mission to make large energy users 24/7 carbon-free.

Industrials, data centres and critical infrastructure need to decarbonise - quickly, without compromise. Amplicity unlocks the batteries they already own, turning backup systems into revenue-generating energy assets that cut carbon and cut cost at the same time.

Our mission

Help large energy users decarbonise - quickly, without capex, without operational compromise.

The energy transition needs behind-the-meter storage. Not more of it - smarter use of what's already sitting in industrial sites and data centres today.

  • 01

The problem: decarbonisation is stuck behind capex and complexity

Industrial operators, data centres, and critical infrastructure need a 24/7 carbon-free supply, but every path there - new build, PPAs, on-site storage - asks for capital, time, and operational risk they're not ready to take.

  • 02

Our approach: unlock the storage that already exists

UPS and backup batteries sit idle more than 99% of the time. Amplicity's edge-native control layer makes that dormant capacity productive - dispatching energy where it lowers cost and cuts carbon, without ever touching the backup floor.

  • 03

The outcome: 24/7 carbon-free, backup, and revenue - from one asset

The same battery bank delivers full backup protection, lower peak charges, verifiable Scope 2 reduction, and recurring revenue in ancillary and energy markets. Performance-based fees - value shared, not fees upfront.

Our vision

The future we're building

A distributed, flexible energy infrastructure - built on the assets that already exist.

At Amplicity, our vision is to transform these assets into a vast distributed flexible energy infrastructure. One that can help reduce emissions, enable greater integration of renewables, and strengthen the resilience of electrical grids.

Because the energy transition will not be achieved solely by building new infrastructures; but by making better use of the ones we already have.

Team

The founders

Two founders, one mission: 24/7 carbon-free energy for industrial sites.

Amplicity was founded by operators who have run energy assets at scale and built the software to dispatch them - with the backing of ENGIE from day one.

Investors

Strategic backing since day one

Backed by ENGIE.

ENGIE Factory led our seed round and continues to back Amplicity - deep energy operator expertise standing behind the product, and the credibility to deploy at industrial scale in Singapore and Australia.
