$1M for Amplicity to help you unlock value from your battery assets
BackScoop covers Amplicity's US$1M seed round led by strategic angels and global energy company ENGIE - and how the platform turns idle backup batteries at industrial facilities into revenue-generating assets.

BackScoop reports that Amplicity, a Singapore-based platform, has secured US$1M in seed funding led by angel investors and global energy company ENGIE.
The startup develops software that transforms idle backup batteries at industrial facilities into revenue-generating assets. By adding a control layer on top of existing UPS and battery infrastructure, Amplicity enables sites to reduce electricity costs through peak management and participate in energy markets, all while maintaining backup readiness within operational safety parameters.
The round will fund Amplicity's first commercial deployments in Singapore and expansion into Australia, two markets facing rising energy costs and growing pressure on grid capacity.
