Amplicity raises $1M seed round to turn idle backup batteries into revenue-generating energy assets

FCC Singapore's coverage of our seed round and the mission to unlock revenue from existing on-site battery infrastructure.

The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore covered Amplicity's $1M seed round, framing the raise around the mission to unlock revenue from the on-site battery infrastructure industrial operators already own.

Amplicity's control layer sits on-site, next to the battery, and turns backup systems into dual-purpose infrastructure - cutting peak electricity charges and generating recurring revenue from energy markets, without compromising the site's backup obligations.

The seed round was led by strategic angel investors with continued backing from ENGIE, funding commercial deployments in Singapore and Australia.
